### Dahl Starter
- Soak the Dahl in water for $\frac{1}{2}$ Hour
- Wash the Dahl
- Put in insta pot
- Put water to just slightly cover the Dahl
- Put carrots & tomato into Insta pot
- 4-5 baby carrots or 1 normal carrot
- 2-3 roma tomatoes
- *Optional* Cauliflower
- Turn on Instapot for 30 minutes on 'Pressure Cook'
- After the Instapot is done put in blender or use immersion blender
## Gujrati Dahl
- Put oil in pan (medium heat)
- Spices
- Put cumin seeds ($\sim{1}$ small spoon)
- $\sim{1}$ small spoon of mustard seeds
- $2$-$3$ Fenugreek
- 1 Clove
- Small amount of red chilli powder
- *Optional* 4-5 Curry Leaves
- Small pinch of Asafoetida
- Wait until mustard seeds start popping
- Add dry red chilli once oil gets hot
- Add Boiled Dahl Starter
- Add water until it looks right
- Half spoon of turmuric
- Big cube of gor
- 1 spoon of Cilantro Powder
- 1/2 of cumin powder
- Less than 1/2 spoon of red chilli powder
- Add paprika until color look good
- Salt
- Garam masala (~amt of tea masala in chai)
- Fistful of sesame seeds
- Ice cube of grated ginger
- Lime Juice
