*Attendees*: Kishan, Andres, Edgar, Brendan *Start Time*: 4:19pm *End Time*: 4:40pm Goals: ### Perforce (*current*) Currently set up, cause Andres is awesome, Andres just needs to upload one document to the perforce. Right now, people are free to upload to the unreal project. (andres will still populate with test samples to double make sure). >[!note] Editor Settings are ignored, you can change those settings as you will. ### In-Progress Updates - Populating the project with some content this week so people can be able to build it - Documentation detailing how to check in and out binaries. ### Andre's Milestone Build Goals - Documentation all about building and checkig out - Resources for recommended tools (Jetbrains plugins, VS plugins, etc), p4v can be very tiresome. ### Stretch Goals Its going to get tiresome to do physical code reviews & binaries checking out, so Andres is researching for possible systems to automate some. There are 2 that they are thinking about: ##### P4 Official - Code Review Tool GUI - A tool that works with perforce that uses rules to require code reviews based off of the filepath (eg. Source directory). It can be a bit iffy to set up which is why it is a stretch goal. - More realistic to implement sooner rather than later ##### *Longer Stretch Goal*: Build Check & Upload Binaries (Server created) to P4 - Constant testing of build is really tiresome and has historically taken a lot of time - The build server would be *Kishan's Framework* - Possible pipelines: Jenkyns, Docker (Hugo & Kishan have experience) The way it would work is there would be another stream just for the server that nobody but the server pushes to. ![[../../../00 Asset Bank/Pasted image 20250916164116.png]]
